Broken Drive Shaft Causes Large Fuel Spill
On August 6th our Emergency Spill Response Team was requested to Interstate 65 at the 29 mile marker for a fuel spill of approximately 60 - 100 gallons. Our crew arrived 20 minutes after receiving the call. Our quick response allowed Emergency Management and the fire department to return in service to respond to other needs in the community. Our crews remained on site for a few hours until the tow truck was able to remove the truck from the scene and we could secure and remediate the site.
