Overfilled Generator Causes Chaos

Our Emergency Response Team was requested to a large diesel spill in a field prior to an event. It was reported that over 200 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from the generator while being refueled. With the approaching hurricane the spill needed to be handled quickly and to have a minimal impact on the attendees of the event. Our team worked through the night to ensure there was no down time during the preparation for the event and it could continue as scheduled. We were able to efficiently use our excavator, dump trucks and skid steer to stop the penetration of the fuel, and regrade the area.
